Cilantro Lime Drink
This drink is a refreshing, palate-cleansing beverage.
Serves 1
Directions
Add 12 oz of purified, cool water to your blender.
Squeeze in juice from one washed lime or small lemon using a citrus juicer (or use 1/5 of your pre-squeeze mixture. See tip below)
Add a generous handful of organic, washed spinach or other greens. (I like to rotate my greens, and fresh broccoli sprouts are one of my favourites)
Add a medium handful of organic, washed cilantro. (Trim off thick bottom stems of cilantro – retain upper stems)
Add one teaspoon of local honey. (Optional)
Blend thoroughly.
Pour and drink within 15 minute as it’s best consumed fresh.
This drink helps to supports your organs of detoxification; liver, kidneys, colon, lungs and skin. It also helps alkalize the body, oxygenate the blood, support your immune system and is hydrating!
