Easy Energy Morning Smoothie

I have a busy life, like most of us in Vancouver. Have 2 young kids, a full patient load, teaching, travelling for work, running a business - not to mention having enough energy to spend time with my husband kids and doggy. This requires me to have my health habits systemized and easy to follow. Here is my current morning smoothie I have created to properly fuel me in the morning so that I have enough energy to accomplish my long days.

Easy Energy Morning Smoothie

2 Cups frozen berries

1 banana

1 scoop of Clean Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder

Fill with Non-Daiy milk of choice

3-5 dates

1-2 heaping Tbsps of favourite nut butter (I use peanut or almond)

Blend and serve. Feel free to make it the night before and store in the fridge for the morning (that is what I do).

I can usually have enough energy to easily get through my mornings with no fatigue and no hunger until lunch with this smoothie. Let me know if it works for you!
